Kaisa’s Machine representa la visió de la música de Kaisa en forma de les seves composicions. La seva música que és identificable,de vegades animada i divertida, però altres vegades et fa reflexionar sobre tots els misteris i tragèdies de la vida.
La banda es va formar el 2015 per la premiada contrabaixista i des d’aleshores han actuat en nombrosos llocs i festivals prestigiosos, com ara el Ronnie Scott’s de Londres, el Bimhuis d’Amsterdam, el Smalls Jazz Club de Nova York i el Pori Jazz Festival a Finlàndia. L’àlbum debut de la banda, In the key of K, es va publicar el desembre de 2017 i Taking Shape el juliol de 2023. Tots dos han, estat elogiats per la crítica i han portat el trio als escenaris més prestigiosos de clubs i festivals internacionals
