Peter Somuah és un trompetista talentós que va aprendre a tocar escoltant sense parar els seus herois trompetistes Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard i Roy Hargrove. Somuah destaca pel seu so càlid i malenconiós, així com per la destresa rítmica que reflecteix la seva criança envoltat dels estils musicals originaris de l’Àfrica Occidental.
